TTT's Summer Race Series consist of several "fun" races throughout the summer. All races are scaled in various ways to "level the playing field" for all competitors so beginners to experts can compete against each other. Points are accumulated for each race to determine a Series winner for both male/female divisions. Additional points are gathered for volunteering and/or bringing non TTT members to series events. Overall winners will receive fantastic prizes at the end of the year Holiday party.

9/15/09 @ 6:30pm	Grandover	Bike Time Trial	Get Results!

Race Rules:

Fees
- Free to TTT members
- $5 for non-members
No-Frills Races
- These will be "no-frills" races
- There will be no t-shirts, limited post race food, etc.
Race Categories
- 8K Trail Race: overall
- Duathlon: male/female categories
- Last Runner Standing: male/female categories
- Predict Your 5K: overall
- Bike Time Trial: male/female categories
Awards
- Awards are a way to recognize TTT Members and provide an incentive to become active participants in TTT events
- Money, gift certificates, apparel and other donated prizes will be available
- 1st - 10th Place receives money or can select from the donated prizes
- 11th+ Place can select from the remaining donated prizes
Award Scoring
- Any TTT event is eligible (e.g. race series, cookouts, meetings, etc.)
- Only TTT members can receive points
- Series points begin to accumulate on the day you pay your TTT dues
- Scores will be kept up-to-date by a member of TTT
- In case of a tie we will use race points alone as the deciding criteria. If there is still a tie, the winner will be the member that has the most volunteer points.
- Awards will be given at a get-together at the the end of the season (to be announced)
- Race series points will be allocated in the following manner
  - 1st place: 8 points
  - 2nd place: 6 points
  - 3rd place: 4 points
  - 4th place: 3 points
  - 5th place: 2 points
  - 6th+ place: 1 point
  - Participant Bonus: 10 points if in all events (includes volunteering)
  - Event Volunteering: 3 points per event
  - Sponsoring: 5 points for bringing any non-member(s) who join TTT (max. 10 points per season)
Event Directors
- Event Directors are responsible for setting up the course, coordinating food and drinks, getting race volunteers, and timing, scoring and submitting results
- Event Directors are required to submit results 72 hours after the race
- Results must be in excel format and include
  - name
  - overall places (for all competitors)
  - times (if applicable)
  - age-group place for TTT scoring
